About Crown & compass
I've spent twenty years in hospitality, managing weddings, events, food and beverage from the inside. My background is in high end venue management — the kind of environment where the margin for error is zero, the budgets are significant, and the guests arriving at your door sometimes require a level of discretion and logistical precision most people will never encounter.
I've fixed the things no one thought to organise — the airport transfers that weren't booked, the room blocks that became a liability, the supplier who arrived at the wrong entrance with nowhere to go.
The couples never knew. That was my job.
But it showed me something. Over and over again — couples were making major decisions without the right information. Signing contracts they didn't fully understand. Booking venues before they'd confirmed their guest list. Choosing a date before checking availability across two continents.
